Crystal Vargas is the Principal Consultant and founder of The Information Management Group. With over 12 years of hands-on experience in the medical field, Crystal graduated with a Degree in Biomedical Informatics, concentrating in Health Information Management, specializes in clinical documentation compliance, policies and procedure creation, HIPAA privacy and security guidelines, AHCA, Joint commission and DFC audits.
She has worked directly with psychiatrists, family medicine physicians, behavioral health providers, and multi-specialty groups across Florida and beyond. She has participated in multiple hospital boards to ensure regulatory body compliance and spearheaded performance improvement programs.

Former roles include Chief Operating Officer, Director of Health Information Management, Privacy and Security Officer, Patient Advocate, Hospital Forms Committee President, and Billing and coding Manager.
Crystal holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a post- graduate degree in Biomedical Informatics, with a concentration in Health information management. She is on the Florida Health Information Management Association Advocacy Committee Board and is a Registered Health Information Administrator for the State of Florida. She stays current with evolving regulations through continuous education and active involvement in professional networks.

Billed in 15-minute increments with a 2-hour minimum per engagement. This is ideal for ongoing support, ad-hoc advice, or smaller projects.
$2,500 – $4,500
Full guidance + document preparation, depending on complexity and whether exemption or full license.
$1,200 – $2,000
Up to 5 payers for one provider.
$3,500 – $8,000
Small to mid-size practice project management support.
$1,800 – $3,000
Audit support and a clear action plan for improvement.
$2,000/month
Ongoing support, 10 hours/month.
All flat-fee projects include a detailed scope of work, timeline, and deliverables before work begins. A 50% deposit is required to start, with the balance due upon completion or as milestone payments.
Travel and Expenses (if on-site): Billed at cost with prior approval.
